tongue tie frenectomy not Dr. Leslie Haller

This is not Dr. Haller, she just found the picture on the internet and, being a dentist, thought it was cute.

                      This is Dr. Haller!

Dr. Leslie Haller graduated first in her class from Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1992.  She is a general dentist with a specialization in airway health.  Airway health includes diagnosing and treating tongue ties, making custom dental appliances for adults with sleep apnea and using guided-growth orthodontics for children with sleep issues.

She is the only board-certified laser dentist in the State of Florida and uses a CO2 laser to release tongue ties in infants, children and adults.  She is passionate about the advantages of using a CO2 laser for frenectomies and about the amazing difference such a safe and simple procedure can make in people’s lives.

One of her research interests is looking into a possible connection between tongue ties and SIDS. In May of 2016, a paper written by Dr. Haller and Dr. Brown was published in the Journal of Rare Disorders:  Upper-Lip Frenum as Predictive Marker for Risk of Unexpected and Unexplained Asphyxia in Infants.   She is also interested in the effect of tongue ties on the airway in children and adults.

She is available to give talks about tongue and upper lip ties as well as sleep apnea in adults and children.  She is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD), the International Consortium of Ankyloglossia Professionals (ICAP) and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AACDM)
